"The ShelterPod is a great new solution that may help the homeless in thousands of towns" - Richard Royce
A SHELTERPOD is a one person emergency, portable, movable "sleeping unit" that is pushed by hand or pulled by bicycle. It will also be a two-sided, changeable advertising vehicle with mini-billboards which can be used for direct income to homeless people and organizations (paid for advertising by monthly sponsors). City and state governments, disaster relief and non-profit organizations and churches can joint venture and co-sponsor building and deployment with the private sector. Working partners and management needed. Key Factors -

Preliminary MISSION STATEMENT The ShelterPod Group will be a non-profit organization dedicated to manufacturing and deployment of highly portable (and secure) one and two-person emergency sleeping shelters for homeless persons, churches, disaster response groups (such as the Red Cross), city, state and federal agencies (such as FEMA) and other non-profit organizations. Getting homeless people everywhere to use the ShelterPod rather than sleeping in the streets and stealing shopping carts - is our primary mission.
